My works on canvas are inspired by the vivid imagery of my dreams and the Surrealist practice of automatic drawing, tracing subconscious narratives through intuitive marks and gestures. I layer Korean hanji paper and nobang silk onto flesh-toned canvas to build textured surfaces, adding drawings and delicate stitching. Guided by my subconscious and inner child, I follow intuitive gestures that bring forth silent emotions and memories.
